Hi James,
WOW! These MIT students ( http://www.randi.org/jr/200511/111805setback.html#i3 ) certainly know what they are talking about, but are they aware of another tremendous quality of aluminium headwear? - ' concentration of thought and the opening up of the mind ' ;  When sending thoughts to a mindreader, specialised aluminium headwear concentrates and amplifies ones brainwaves which make it easier to transmit ideas or in my case randomly chosen images.
Here at Glasgow Science Centre in Scotland my colleague Steve Owens and I demonstrated powerfull mindreading and transmission of thought to hundreds of witnesses during performances of our show ' Do You Feel Lucky? ' . A hundred people at a time were temporarily convinced of our 'powers'  ( of deception ! ) and my carefully constructed headgear was very helpfull during the performance.

Thanks for your weekly commentary and for the million dollar challenge - I often suggest it when in discussion with some of the more irrational and credulous people I meet in everyday life. More recently I have been challenging pharmacists on the sale of homeopathic and magnetic goods. My local chemist recently started to stock magnetic bracelets as well as homeopathic remedies which prompted me to challenge them, as scientists, on their opinions regarding these 'remedies'. Their response was " if it helps people and it is harmless, why not?".  They didn't seem to appreciate the damage this is causing to critical thinking skills and society in general. The fact that promoting magnetic healing bracelets is only helping the Human Race to slide back into the abyss of superstition didn't seem to bother them. I left with them some literature from skepdic.com and JREF.
So far, only one pharmacist has admitted to me that homeopathy is medically ineffective - this lady works for ' Boots The Chemist ' - I suggested she persuades Boots to take a stand against such nonsense, who knows, I may have started her thinking...
