Durban Astronomy Course

The local Astronomical Society will be running a basic astronomy course for the public this year.

DURATION: 7:00 - 9:00 PM on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month from April to September 1999 - ie.

13th & 27th April

11th & 25th May

8th & 22nd June

13th & 27th July

10th & 24th August

14th & 28th September

In addition to the talks, over the 6-month period there will also be practical sessions on astro-photography, observing occultations, use of telescopes, planispheres, etc. 

COST: R45 (to cover photocopying. No textbook required).

MAIN VENUE: Marist Brothers College
